Here are a couple of photos by the stream at the side of the Triangle and a lovely Honeysuckle and Vetch in flower — spot the bees if you can.

Recently Stephanie Luxton visited 60 Year 1 children at Woodthorpe Primary School.  After a little talk, the children gave some lovely responses all about Hob Moor. This was followed by a craft activity (supplies provided by FOHM) which really went down well, and the children had something to take home and a leaflet too to their parents.

Eight early-risers accompanied Barry Bishop of the York RSPB onto Hob Moor and the Railway Pond on Saturday. Saturday 29th April will be the very popular Dawn Chorus walk with Barry Bishop, leader of York RSPB. Meeting at 6am by the yellow railings near the tunnel, this fascinating walk is well worth the early start. Forecast is dry and cool – but not cold!
