About 100 Cattle have arrived on the Moor for summer grazing. They are Aberdeen Angus, Hereford and Belgian Blue, a mixture of heifers and bullocks, and are quite small – 4-5 months old. The south end of the moor by Lidl was picked up by 5 volunteers despite light rain! 

Meet at 6pm, weather permitting, at the bench closest to the tunnel on the south side. Bring food and drink to share, instruments if you have them. Children welcome.

Before the formal AGM business there will be a talk by Derek Utley on “Treemendous and Woodland Trust“. Afterwards, there will be refreshments and the opportunity to chat to members of the committee and other Friends of Hob Moor.
